In this episode of Once Upon an Artwork, Nova peers inside Louise Nevelson’s “Sky Cathedral,” 1958, which turns into a haunted house. When he overcomes his fear of the dark, he discovers a portal to another land that’s in trouble. Only he and Black Dragon can save the day.

This animated video series uses works of art in MoMA’s collection as a jumping off point for children to imagine, play, seek adventure, and create worlds. We record kids looking at works of art and then an animator brings their unique vision and storytelling to life.
